Definition
Indicates that the field status defined in Customizing for a field can be overridden by the system for technical or business management reasons.
This field is a display field only, meaning the user cannot make any entries in it.
Use
Dependencies
Depending on whether the Field Status can be Overridden indicator has been set, the following applies to the field status of the individual fields:
- The indicator is set.
The actual behavior of the field on the interface can differ from the Customizing settings you made for field selection control. This means, for example, that for technical or business reasons a field that you have defined as a display field could appear on the screen as an entry field.
- The indicator is not set.
The actual behavior of a field on the screen interface matches the Customizing settings that you have made for this field.
