Documentation
Definition
Shows how the buyer of the goods intends to use them, which affects how goods are taxed:
- If the company intends to use them themselves, ICMS is calculated on the price plus IPI.
- If the company intends to resell them, ICMS is calculated on the price net of IPI.

Use
When a sales clerk creates a service order or a sales order, the system determines what each product is going to be used for, using the settings that you have made in the IMG activity Assign Nota Fiscal Values to Item Categories.
It then uses this information to determine which CFOP code to assign to the order item.
