Definition
The purpose of this data element is to define whether guaranteed consistent data should be supplied or whether data consistency is irrelevant (keyword: buffering a table on the application server).
The parameter does not define whether data is read directly from the database (BYPASSING BUFFER) or from the buffer.
The database access module is responsible for supplying guaranteed consistent data.
