Definition
Storage type into which the material is to be placed or has already been placed.
Use
The system reads this table, which contains the source/destination storage type combination and the WM movement type of the created transfer order item, in order to decide whether the data from this item should be transmitted to TRM. You can use global entries for source/destination type definition.
The table is read in the following sequence:
- Source storage type, destination storage type, WM movement type
- Source storage type, destination storage type, blank
- Source storage type, ***, WM movement type
- Source storage type, ***, blank
- ***, destination storage type, WM movement type
- ***, destination storage type, blank
- ***, ***, WM movement type
- ***, ***, blank
The first entry found in this table decides whether the transfer order item just checked is transmitted to TRM. If this entry is set to "inactive", there is no data transmission to TRM.
It is appropriate to set the entry to "inactive" for certain WM movement types. For example, all transfer orders that are created using movement types 711 and 712 (difference postings) are not relevant for TRM, because there is no physical goods movement involved.
If you specify several storage types using wildcards (***), you must then define the relationship between these storage types in the table.
Example:
WNo SrcTy. DestTy.
001 001 002
001 002 001
001 *** 001
001 *** 002
001 001 ***
001 002 ***
