Definition

When the system transmits the source item in a transfer order to the R/2 System, this indicator controls whether the differences that are posted to the source storage bin are taken into consideration. Since such differences make a correction to the source bin data, data reflecting the actual quantity of stock that exists should possibly also be transmitted directly to the R/2 System.

Example

For a stock placement from production, 10 pallets with 100 pieces each are planned.

  • For this, the system creates 10 transfer orders:

    Source interim storage bin = Production (i.e., Storage Type 902)

    Destination storage bin = High Rack Storage

  • The stock placement is carried out first in the WM system.

    Nine full pallets of 100 pieces each plus a partial pallet with 60 pieces are produced. These pallets are placed into stock. When the tenth pallet is confirmed, the 40 pieces that were not produced are posted to the source storage bin as a difference.

    Only the quantity that was actually produced and placed into stock should be transmitted to the R/2 System.

When you activate this indicator, the system carries out this kind of posting to the R/2 System regardless of the type of difference used.
