Mean time in hours between two machine breakdowns.
This key figure is calculated by dividing the number of effective breakdowns by the time between the end of the last breakdown and the beginning of the next breakdown:
(time of the nth breakdown - time of the (n-1)th breakdown - breakdown time of the (n-1)th breakdown) / number of effective breakdowns
Use
In the standard of Plant Maintenance Information System the key figure 'Mean Time Between Repair' is calculated by executing the standard analysis with the aid of the key figure 'Time Between Repair' (information structure S070).
