Definition
Use
If you want to use the subparameter as a prefix to predefine a configuration value generically for a set of subparameters, then select the option Prefix.
Dependencies
Example
View the parameter:
Category = RUNTIME
Parameter = EO_OUTBOUND_PARALLEL
Enter the name of a business system, for which you want to determine the number of parallel outbound queues, in the subparameter. If you have a set of business systems that all start with the same name prefix (for example, MY_BUSINESS_SYSTEM_*), you can use a generic entry instead of numerous individual entries by setting the subparameter to MY_BUSINESS_SYSTEM_ and selecting the option Prefix. The configuration is then valid for all business systems whose names begin with this prefix. However, if you also create a special non-generic subparameter, this overrides the generic entry. A special entry always has priority over a generic entry.
