Definition
By specifying the SSL client identity, you define the client certificate with which the SAP system logs on to the SMTP server.
Use
If you specify the identity ANONYM , no client certificate is used for logon; that is, the TLS protocol ensures only the encryption of the HTTP connection.
The SSL identity DFAULT indicates the default certificate for logging on to an SMTP server. It is then used when no entry is made in this field.
All other client identities are application-specific and must be defined in the Trust Manager.
The client certificate can be used by the SMTP server for authentication (SASL EXTERNAL).
