Definition
Several formats are combined in a 'format group'. In format group maintenance, you specify several 'format group / format' pairs. In node definition, a format group that the node supports can then be assigned to it.
Example
You want to combine all the fax formats supported by your fax software (Postscript, Rich Text Format and PDF) in one format group in order to then assign them to all fax nodes.
To do this, you specify the following values in format group definition:
FAX POS
FAX RTF
FAX PDF
