Definition
Type of address in the SAPoffice and SAPconnect environment. It determines the structure of an address and the method of communication used for dispatch (for example, fax or Internet Mail).
In addition, the user can determine the communication method (SAPcomm, SAPconnect etc.) to be used for each external address type.
The user can also specify the address types that each node can process (for example, a node can process all address types, a fax system can process FAX only).
