Definition

This field specifies the maximum memory that was occupied by a process of the component during the processing of a request from a particular service, a particular user, or a particular action. The maximum memory usage is shown in kilobytes.

Use

The maximum memory usage is measured in the component; it must therefore be possible to measure memory usage in the component. When the collector aggregates the values, it always retains the maximum value for each aggregation level.

• In ABAP systems, the memory usage for extended memory, the roll area, the paging area, and heap memory are measure separately and displayed here aggregated.
• The Internet Transaction Server measures the maximum memory usage during the processing of a request.
