Definition
This service returns the type of processing for a request in a component.
Use
Dependencies
The service is sotred in the statistics record in numerical form, and is converted, as far as possible, to a text description in the display transaction. This must be delivered by the component during the statistics intialization. If the initialization has been incorrectly processed, only the number can be displayed.
Example
In the ITS, there are the SAPGUI, IAC and FlowLogic services. In ABAP systems, the service corresponds to the task type. These include not only Dialog, Background, and Update, but also the "virtual" task types AutoABAP, BatchInput, and so on.
