Documentation
Definition
Subtypes are subdivisions of infotypes. The various subtypes of an infotype can be assigned different time constraints, and a separate data history can be maintained for each subtype.
Supplementary Documentation - SUBTY_591A0001
Use
By assigning the subtypes of infotype Special Regulations (0265) to a public service function, the relevant special regulations function will be considered for the personal case.
Both the general decision as to whether the infotype will be used in the function as well as the allocation of subtypes is already given in the standard system.
