Definition
The user needs to enter an identification to log on to the external reservation system from the R/3 System. Depending upon the arrangement made with the external reservation system, it may only be necessary to identify the system from which the user is logging on, and not the actual individual user.
The GDS (Global Distribution System) identification is assigned by the reservation system and generally has a 1:1 relationship with a (virtual) sales office (also: office ID, Pseudo City Code).
