Definition
A business partner role type classifies partners according to the roles they can assume. You can define the role type using your own criteria. The business partner role type is a subdivision of a business partner role category.
In addition to giving you information on the exact partner role within the role category, the role type is also used to control correspondence. The correspondence function lets you generate different letters for different role types.
