Definition
A Status Update Feed is a text that can be added to a certain feed in SAP Jam.
The feed can be connected to any feed resource such as a Group, a Topic, or a User.
Use
The status update can be used for blogging about the related feed resource.
As feed resources such as Groups or Topics can be assigned to a business object, the status update may be implicitly related to a business object. As only one (unstructured) string of information can be posted, the term "micro-blogging" is sometimes used for this use case.
