Documentation
Definition
Activates the static stopping of releases for this scheduling agreement item.
Use
With this function you can stop the message output function for SA releases (JIT delivery schedules, forecast delivery schedules or both) after they have been generated by the release creation program.
This means that SA releases are created, but the generation of message records is suppressed.
Note
Stopping SA releases is only possible for scheduling agreements with release documentation if a separate message is generated for each release (Rel.Mess. indicator im Customizing for Message Control) and if releases are created using the release creation program (transaction ME84/program RM06EFLB).
SA releases generated manually during delivery schedule maintenance are not stopped.
Dependencies
You can list and release (approve/give clearance to issue) the stopped SA releases.
A message record is only created when you release stopped SA releases.
You can release stopped SA releases via Purchasing -> Outline agreement -> Scheduling agreement -> Delivery schedule -> Release SA release.
Note
If releases have been created and stopped with the release creation report, the MRP controller responsible can be informed about this with the Workflow.
More information is available in the SAP Library under SAP Automotive -> MM Scheduling Agreements Enhancements -> SA Releases: Process -> Workflows for the MRP Controllers.
