Definition
The reason why an object was cancelled.
Use
You can cancel the current object (order,contract settlement) by entering a cancellation reason in this field. By using the corresponding function key, you can make entries in the field. When you save this, cancellation is completed.
During contract settlement, the system does not take account of this cancelled settlement for follow-on settlements. This means that they are based on the status previous to this settlement. If the cancelled settlement had been billed, the system would generate a a cancellation billing document using collective billing processing (triggered manually or automatically).
