Definition
Number used in combination with the BOM category to identify a bill of material or a BOM group.
This number is assigned internally by the system and you do not need it. To process the BOM, you enter the object (for example, material or equipment) to which the BOM belongs.
Use
Under this number, the system stores:
- All the alternatives of a multiple BOM
- All the variants of a variant BOM
- BOMs that are allocated to several plants
