Definition

Designates a statistics group for sales and distribution documents and is used to determine the data updated by the system in the logistics information system.

Use

You can assign statistics groups to the following categories:

• Customer
• Sales document type/item type (stat. group for S+D documents)
• Billing type (statistics group for sales and distribution documents)
• Booking unit

When you generate statistics in the logistics information system, the system uses the combination of specified statistics groups to determine the update group. This group then determines the fields for which the statistics are generated.
