Use
The reason for the reverse posting is noted in the reversed document. The field is therefore used as information as to why a reversal was necessary.
The reason for reversal also determines:
- Whether the reverse document is allowed to have an alternative posting date
- Whether the reverse document is to be created from negative postings
Examples
- Reversal of an incorrect posting in the same period
- Reversal of an incorrect posting in the subsequent period
- Reverse posting for an accrual/deferral posting

Use
When planning statistical key figures, you can plan an individual statistical key figure or a group of statistical key figures.
You plan a group with statistical key figures when you want to quick access to all the statistical key figures in your cost center for planning purposes.
By planning groups of statistical key figures, you have the advantage of not having to fill in the request screen for each individual statistical key figure.
Procedure
You can use either a single value, an interval or a group.
Examples
You define a key figure group in order to plan statistical key figures in management cost centers. To do so, combine all the statistical key figures required in management together into one group. For example:
Key figure group MANAGESRGRP
- EMPSGA Employees of salary group A
- EMPSGB Employees of salary group B
- TELEUN Number of telephone charge units
- ...... etc.
