Tax number of the customer/vendor which is to be used for reporting to the tax authorities.

Usage varies from country to country:

  • Italy: Codice Fiscale
  • Spain: N.I.F
  • France: SIREN/record number of the financial ministry
  • Belgium: Record number of the financial ministry
  • USA: Social Security number
  • Mexico: R.F.C. (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes)
  • Russian Federation: Tax identification number (INN)
  • Argentina: Tax identification number (e.g. CUIT).
  • Brazil: CGC if the indicator "Natural person" is NOT set, otherwise no entry is made.
