Definition
The group is the top group of a subgroup hierarchy. This hierarchy is mounted by the composition of the head group companies, their possible identity with the rollup companies of other subgroups, their companies, and so on.
The information on the subgroup hierarchy is needed to determine the correct substitution of the partner account assignment for the rollup. Therefore, the head group should always be identical to your combined group.
If you have to report an extract of your combined group to a higher-level group parent, also choose the combined group as a head group. In this case, no further substitution of partner information can be carried out since the overall structure of the higher-level group is generally not represented in your FI-LC installation.
