Definition

Each technical configuration task can define if it supports a check mode. The check mode is intended to ensure that the environment for the real execution of the task is well defined. The task manager ensures that a task is called in check mode first before it is called in real execution mode. When a task list is executed in check mode, all tasks will be called in check mode.

Use

Use the separate check mode call to check all tasks in the task list before starting a long running procedure.
