Definition

Date you can use to restrict the search according to a status.

Use

You enter this date when you want to find documents for which this status was set on this day or earlier.

Procedure

When you want to find documents that:

  • Have had the set status on a particular day or earlier, only make an entry in the To Status field.
  • Have had the status at least once within the given period of time, specify the time period with the From Date and the To Status.

Examples

You want to find released documents. For each example the status entry is RE (released).

  • You want to find documents that have the status RE at the time of the search, regardless of when the status was set.

    Date entry: None

  • You want to find documents for which the status RE was set at least once on October 10th 1999 or earlier.

    From Date: 10.10.1999

  • You want to find documents for which the status RE was set at least once from October 12th 1999 to December 20th 1999.
    From Date: 10.12.1999
    To Status: 20.12.1999
