Documentation
Definition
During its execution, an SAP application may request data for various purposes from several external resources. The (net) number of bytes transferred during such requests is referred to as "application bytes".
These data are distinguished according to the following interface or data types:
Screen sources
Screen load
ABAP sources
ABAP load
CUA sources
CUA load
Nametab interface
CPIC interface
DDIC interface
DSQL interface (user data from data base)
All specified data amounts refer to "net bytes" that are of use to the application. These amounts do not reflect the actual data transfer across the network. Deviations may be due to packaging or log overheads.
