Definition

The test indicator checks the settings for the statistics indicator in transactions for consistency in the utilities and telecommunications industries. The permitted values for the statistics indicator are stored in a table in the system.

For example, the value H is reserved for cash security deposits and the value R for installment plans.

The indicator is blank (value: space) for transactions that are not posted statistically.

For transaction such as charges, which can be both true (means the transaction figures in the general ledger are changed) and statistic, the indicator has the value *.
