Definition
The system number designates the SAP startup profile. The standard system number is '00'. This number is defined for the different application servers when the SAP system is started.
In external statistics data, the system number is used as the field of origin. The value range A1 - ZZ is reserved for external statistics files (raw data) and the value range A*, B*, .... Z* for copies of external performance data bases.
