Definition
Under normal circumstances, a dialog step should be forwarded to the user process immediately after it is requested from the dispatcher work process. In these circumstances, the average wait time in the dispatcher process is a few milliseconds. However, if there is high utilization of the application server or the entire system, wait situations arise in the dispatcher queue. Significant response times ( > 1s) can occur.
