Definition

List of application servers of this SAP system. Active servers are those instances which can communicate with the SAP message handler and usually contain a work process active in the data base.

Each application server can contain either active or inactive workload statistics. This depends on the value of the 'stat/level' profile parameter ( '0' = statistics inactive, '1' = statistics active ). If statistics are activated, the information is written in raw data records on the local hard disk.

This list also includes application servers which were previously active in the SAP system (and contained active statistics) but are currently not logged on the system.
