Definition
A large amount of the time of a dialog step is required for read or data base change operations. Data base calls are all calls to the SAP data base interface which are transferred to the data base.
Unlike logical data base requests, calls are already edited and cannot be processed by the local SAP buffer.
The time response of data base calls depends to a large extent on network run times and the data base server load.
