Definition
Value specifying the maximum allowable deviation of the forecast value from the actual value.
Use
For every forecast the system compares the tracking limit with the tracking signal, which is the quotient of the error total and the mean absolute deviation. This comparison is used to check the accuracy of the forecast.
If the tracking signal exceeds the tracking limit then the MRP controller is notified through an exception that the forecast model should be checked over.
