Definition

Identifies the collateral type which serves as the primary collateral securing a loan.

You need to create the primary collateral with collateral category 50 in the IMG activity Define Collateral Types in the Customizing activities for Loans Management.

Use

The primary collateral field in the loan master data is used for information purposes and can be used in evaluations. It is not used within the program logic for Loans Management.

Dependencies

The primary collateral does not have to be created additionally as a collateral category, other collateral or an encumbrance in the Customizing for Loans Management.
