Documentation
Definition
Specifies a security profile that contains security information (private/public key, process, algorithms) for a signatory or a recipient. The structure of this parameter is specified by the utilized security product.
Supplementary Documentation - SSFPROF 0001
Use
If the private address book is available as a file (for example, if you are using the SAPSECULIB) security product, specify the file path here. You have two options when doing so:
Specifying a file path that is valid system-wide(the Distribute PSE indicator must not be set).
Specifying a file name and setting the Distribute PSE indicator. In this case, the PSE is saved in the database, and copiedto the $DIR_INSTANCE/sec directory on all application servers.
Note that you can use the same file in different clients. If you want to make client-specific settings, include the client number in the file name.
Dependencies
The following restrictions apply:
The Distribute PSE indicator can only be set if you are using the SAPSECULIB security product.
If the Distribute PSE is set, you can only specify the file name, not the complete file path.
If you are using the SAPSECULIB security product, the private address book and SSF profile name must be identical.
Example
To use the system PSE, you must enter SAPSYS.pse as the file name and set the Distribute PSE indicator. The system PSE is valid cross-client.
