Definition

An application is a component of the software that is technically enabled for creation of service requests improving the collaboration with a shared services center, thereby integrating it into the Shared Services Framework.

Use

During creation of service requests, the system fills the attributes of the service request from the application context. Based on the application, the system decides which fields of the application context influence the content of the service request attributes.

Dependencies

Example

In application Financials, prefilling of the service request attributes can be customized based on the current transaction and an error message. The shared services center agent then gets better information about the problem to be resolved.
