Definition

This indicator activates the link for service request creation in the status line when the respective message is raised.

Use

Whenever you get the message in an activity of the application area, there is a link behind the message text that you can use to directly create a service request, based on the message.

Dependencies

Setting this indicator only has effect if the following criteria are satisfied:

• The activity is a SAP GUI transaction.
• The application area allows creation of service requests based on raised error messages.
• The transaction is technically enabled for the link in the status line.

Example

In Financials, master data transactions are enabled for the link in the status line, whereas service request creation in automatic payment areas is based on the item indicator, so that the link is not technically enabled here.
