Definition

An activity is the part of an application that is enabled for service request creation.

Use

Activities have to be tagged for usage in Customizing. Then users of the activity can create service requests directly out of the activity. For example, if a clerk uses a transaction in SAP GUI, a service request can be created from the menu Help -> Service Request.

Dependencies

Activities are grouped into application areas. Customizing is based on these application areas.

Example

Examples of activities are user interfaces, screen flows, transactions, programs.
