Definition

When creating service requests automatically, it can be useful to aggregate erroneous business objects (master or transactional data) into one service request. To control this aggregation, up to six split criteria can be specified for each error selected for automatic creation.

Use

If an error occurs several times in an automatic run, the system creates one service request for all the occurrences. To prevent this aggregation, you have to determine the split criteria, which depend on the application area enabled for automatic service request creation.

Dependencies

The maintenance of split criteria is only offered in Customizing if the application area is enabled for automatic service request creation:

Example

If the error is probably caused by wrong data in a master record, the split criterion is the related master data object (such as a business partner or material). If the error might, on the other hand, be related to item data, you define both master and transactional data objects as split criteria.
