Definition
Index used by the system to determine and extrapolate the seasonal part of the forecast value if the forecast is based on a seasonal model or a trend-seasonal model.
In the case of a seasonal model, the system multiplies the basic value with the seasonal index, and for a trend-seasonal model it multiplies the sum of the basic value and the trend value with the seasonal index.
