Definition
Determines whether you can use PDC devices in SAP Retail Store and how the PDC devices should communicate with the ERP system.
Use
You can make the following entries:

You do not want to use PDC devices - 1
PDC data transfer by Web browser. Only single documents can be transferred to the ERP system using a PDC device. - 2
PDC mass processing procedure. PDC data is transferred using RFC interfaces. You could use the SAP Business Connector, for example. - 3
PDC data transfer by Web browser. In this procedure, only single documents can be transferred from the PDC device to the ERP system. The difference to procedure 1 is that the PDC files are displayed immediately by the "File Upload Applet". The user is provided with only one choice of the available files that have not yet been processed.
