Use

Dependencies

The central contract is created in the SRM system and transferred to the ERP system or ERP purchasing organizations. In the ERP system, the SRM central contract can only be displayed, not changed.

You can use the central contract as a source of supply in the ERP system in the following ways:

  • Manually in purchase requisitions or purchase orders
In a purchase order, you can have several items with different ERP and SRM sources of supply, for example info record and SRM central contract.
  • When assigning sources of supply to purchase requisitions
  • Automatically when processing and assigning sources of supply
  • In the MRP planning run
Sourcing for the planning run takes central contracts into account when creating purchase requisitions.

This release data is transferred to the SRM system and displayed in the release documentation of the central contract at item level.
