You only assign the Role attribute to fourth-level nodes, to determine the roles for which the task is relevant.

Use
For fourth-level nodes (tasks), you must select either Valid for all roles or Valid for specified role so that the task will be displayed in a role-specific view. If you select the option Not specified, the customer will only see the task in the overall view and if s/he generates a role-specific view and sets a Not specified filter.
