Documentation
Definition
You only assign the Role attribute to fourth-level nodes, to determine the roles for which a task is relevant. Select Valid for all roles, in order that the user will see the task in the overall view and in all role-specific views of the Roadmap structure. You do not assign roles to phases, work packages or activities.
Supplementary Documentation - SRBROLALL 0000
Use
If possible, assign validity for specific roles using the option Valid for specific roles, so that customers only see the tasks relevant for a specific role when they generate a role-specific view.
Dependencies
The roles and subject areas you may assign to a node depend on the Roadmap flavor you have selected.
