Documentation
Definition
The server supports downloading of routing data by RFC. Not only are agent groups including agents and their responsibilities downloaded, but also business partner groups, that is, lists of business partners that meet certain criteria, and their address data, for example telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, or fax numbers. You can use this indicator to specify whether this data (business partner groups and address data) is to be downloaded or not.
Use
The address data can be used to determine the business partner for an inbound call using the telephone number, for example, and then the corresponding group using the business partner. An agent group is then responsible for this group.
Besides the data download, it is also possible for the router to access the SAP database directly. The address data is mass data. A router manufacturer can therefore decide not to store this data on their database, but rather to use the SAP database. In this case, the indicator can be deactivated to prevent an unnecessary download and improve performance.
Dependencies
If the address data is to be downloaded, you can also specify which address types are to be downloaded (if the router only routes calls, for example, e-mail addresses do not have to be downloaded).
Example
The internal router receives the address data (it cannot access a different database). To show this, the indicator is displayed as not ready for input. You have to differenciate between business partner groups and the actual addresses. The business partner groups are stored in separate tables. The external router can access these tables if the SAP database is to be used. The address data is not stored additionally because it already exists in the SAP tables of business address services. Since addresses of each supported address type are stored there, all address types are activated as not ready for input with the internal router.
