Definition
To display an SQL trace and an enqueue trace, you can restrict the value range for the following parameters:
- User name
- Object name
. SQL Trace: Table name to which the SQL statement refers
. Enqueue Trace: Lock object to which the statement refers
. RFC trace: Instnace on which a function is executed
. Buffer trace: Table name to which the access relates
- Duration
- Operation
. SQL Trace: Database operation
. Enqueue Trace: Operation for the lock object.
. RFC trace: Characteristic of the execution (client/server)
. Buffer trace: Buffer operation
For parameters 'User name', 'Table name' and 'SQL operation', you can enter single values or patterns. In a pattern you can use wildcard characters in addition to standard characters. The letters are always converted to uppercase. You can use the wildcard characters '*' and '+'.
The wildcard character '*' represents any character string; the wildcard character '+' stands for any character.
You can change the option proposed by choosing "Options". Select the operator and decide whether you should select the trace records or exclude them from the selections that fulfil the selection requirements. Use the stoplights to show whether the trace records should be selected or excluded from the selection. You can change the stoplights by clicking on them.
If you choose "Select", the operator is underlined in green. If you choose "Exclude from selection" the operator is underlined in red.
You can access the single value limitation by choosing "=>...". Here you can change the selection requirements already formulated or formulate additional requirements.
For the duration (runtime of the statement), you can enter a numeric value and select the option as described above. The operator offers you "Larger" and "Select record" as standard. The time unit is microseconds.
You are offered the following as standard restrictions:
- for the trace type: SQL trace
- for the user name: current user
- for the object name: no consideration of the system tables (D010*, REPOLOAD, REPOSRC, REPOTEXT, DYNPSOURCE, DYNPLOAD, DYNPTXTLD, DDLOG)
