Definition
Type of the process (see transaction SM50, for example) from which the trace records were written. If the type of the process is displayed as a heading or a subheading, it applies for the following trace records in each case.
The different process types are:
. DIA - Dialog
. BTC - Background
. UPD - V1 update
. UP2 - V2 update
. ENQ - Enqueue and
. SPO - Spool.
If the process type is blank, the system could not determine the process type from the current system at the time the trace list was created. The process with the process ID specified in the sub-header does not currently exist in the system.
