Definition

The assigned cancellation status is set automatically if a participant in the authorization procedure does not give authorization. If no cancellation status is specified, the document is set to the status which it had at the beginning of the authorization procedure.

Use

Dependencies

A cancellation status is only effective if the Signature Strategy field contains an existing strategy.

Example

You have specified the following status schema:

Document status    signature strategy    end status    cancellation status

IN_PROCESS

IN_REVIEW    MYSIGNATURE    RELEASED    DECLINED

RELEASED

DECLINED

The author of the document changes the status from IN_PROCESS to IN_REVIEW and saves the document. This starts the authorization procedure MYSIGNATURE. If a signatory refuses authorization, the document is given the status DECLINED. If no cancellation status is specified for the authorization procedure MYSIGNATURE, the document is given the status IN_PROCESS, the last active status before the authorization procedure.
