Definition
Represents a posting block reason
Use
Posting blocks can have the following forms:
- Posting and clearing block
If a posting and clearing block exists, you cannot enter a new line item or clear existing ones. - Only posting block
If a posting block exists, you cannot enter any new line items. - Only clearing block
If a clearing block exists, you cannot clear existing line items.
If there is a Posting block or a Posting and clearing block, then you are also not permitted to reverse or reset clearing for the combination of contract account/business partner concerned.
You can set posting blocks at the contract account/business partner level in the master record of the contract account.
