Definition
For cross-docking with prepacking, the system splits deliveries according to the relevant end consumer. This is he case, if you combine multiple single-recipient orders to one inbound delivery, or if you enter inbound deliveries for non-single-recipient orders.
In the inbound delivery in these cases, for each order item or subitem, corresponding main items and subitems are created. The main item is flagged as requiring packing. The subitems have a statistical character; therefore the subitems are not distributed to external Warehouse Management Systems.
