Definition

Resubmission dependent on the attributes Viewed, Reply sent, In process, Done.

Use

The document is placed in your inbox on the resubmission date if the recipients have not yet taken the appropriate action (for example, sent a reply).

Examples

  • User A sends a document to user B on 14.07.93. A defines a single resubmission for the document for 15.07.93 and selects "Viewed". B reads the document on 14.07.93. A resubmission does not therefore take place.
  • User A sends a document on 14.07.93:
    - to user B with the attribute Reply required
    - to user C with no attributes
A defines a resubmission for the document for 15.07.93 and selects "Reply sent".
User C replies on 14.07.93, but user B does not. A resubmission therefore takes place.

Exception

Forwarding and resubmitting a document which was received with the attribute Reply required:

A sends a document to B with the attribute Reply required. B forwards the document to C and defines a resubmission for the document, for which he selects "Viewed". Due to the resubmission definition, the document is moved from B's inbox and placed in his resubmission folder.

On the resubmission date, B has not replied to the document. C has viewed the document. According to the resubmission definition, the document is not resubmitted to B. However, as he still has to send a reply to A, the document is placed in B's inbox.

Dependencies

If you do not define the resubmission from the send screen, you need to have already sent the document to one or more persons. If you select "Reply sent", "In process", or "Done", you need to have sent the document with "Reply required" or "ToDo".
